Chemicals and pesticides are much more regulated, many of those approved in the US have a high level of carcinogens or other sh- other disease inducing components. Fresh food does not need fat, sugar, salt, etc added for taste. I am now giving serious thought to moving to Europe. I suspect I will live a bit longer if I do, and I KNOW my quality of life will be greatly improved.
