Q: I have a question regarding the descendants of Edom. In Joel Rosenberg’s novel The Ezekiel Option, some Iranians claim that they are descended from the Edomites and that Iran is in danger of God’s judgment upon the edomites. Are some Iranians descended from Edom? And if so, could Obadiahs prophecy against Edom be a warning for Iran? Thanks for your ministry and God bless.
xxx/ellauri114.html on line 384: A: The Iranians are the modern day Persians who originated in Elam, not Edom. Edom was the birthplace of the Ammonites and the Moabites and was later inhabited by the family of Esau, Jacob’s brother. Edom got its name from Esau, and is called Jordan today. Elam was located further east on the other side of Iraq, where Iran is today. Obadiah prophesied against the Edomites who were driven out of their capital (Petra) by the Nabateans, a Bedouin people descended from Ishmael, in fulfillment of Obadiah’s prophecy. Many believe that during the Great Tribulation, the Jordanians will hide believing Jews in Petra where God will protect them against the anti-Christ. The area is called Bosrah in Isaiah 63.

Roaches creeping out from every crevice: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for a "new world order" based on new ideas, saying the era of tyranny has come to a dead-end. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said "it's time to move from words. We are also fighting for a New World Order". Turkish President Abdullah Gül said: "I don't think you can control all the world from one centre. There are big nations. There are huge populations. There is unbelievable economic development in some parts of the world. So what we have to do is, instead of unilateral actions, act all together, make common decisions and have consultations with the world, to let a new world order emerge." What the FUCK!? And here is the death blow:
xxx/ellauri186.html on line 237: Having originated from Persis, roughly corresponding to the modern-day Fars Province of Iran, Cyrus has played a crucial role in defining the national identity of modern Iran. He remains a cult figure amongst modern Iranians, with his tomb serving as a spot of reverence for millions of people. In the 1970s, the last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, identified Cyrus' famous proclamation inscribed onto the Cyrus Cylinder as the oldest-known declaration of human rights, and the Cylinder has since been popularized as such. This view has been criticized by some Western historians as a misunderstanding of the Cylinder's generic nature as a traditional statement that new monarchs make at the beginning of their reign. Fucking Westerners, always belittling other people's achievements.

Further, "His upbringing did not have anything to do with the type of person who would spy for anybody." The Iranians chimed in to the effect that "mistakes and misunderstandings" played a major role in Mr. Seib's detention.
xxx/ellauri380.html on line 480: Iraqis showed ineptness against an Iranian military ripped apart by revolutionary turmoil in the 1980s and could not win a three-decades-long war against the Kurds. The Arab military performance on both sides of the 1990 Kuwait war was at best mediocre. And the Arabs have done poorly in nearly all the military confrontations with Israel. Why this unimpressive record? There are many factors—economic, ideological, technical—but perhaps the most important has to do with culture and certain societal attributes which inhibit Arabs from producing an effective military force.

xxx/ellauri484.html on line 584: Finnish War Minister Antti Häkkänen has announced that Finland is monitoring the execution of weapons supply contracts for Ukraine through the To Ukraine Only system. In an interview with Euronews, Häkkänen stressed that all weaponry purchased by European nations must reach the Ukrainian army-and go nowhere else (like Iran). Meanwhile, the Pentagon is considering redirecting some military equipment intended for Ukraine to the Iranian theater of operations, including air defense systems. Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated at a press conference following a meeting of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) leaders that a war with Iran is not NATO's business. What if there were no NATO, hehe, asks Mr. Trump. Notably, a practice of unofficial payments for safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz has emerged, which can amount to $2 million per tanker passage. These tankers may sail under a Malaysian flag but are often ultimately owned by British interests. Pee toupee is seriously considering pulling out of Nato. His Finnish caddy boy is frantically calling him on the red alarm phone.

Trump previously said a “whole civilization will die tonight” as he imposed an 8 p.m. ET deadline on Iran to make a deal and open the Strait of Hormuz. An Iranian government spokesperson had said the threat is a “sign of ignorance” that wouldn’t help potential dialogue.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 408: Infrastructure across the country has been attacked by the US and Israel in recent hours, according to Iranian state media reports. Civilian facilities, including residential and commercial areas, have also been targeted in the attacks, according to Iranian outlets. Israeli strikes across Iran are targeting all transportation routes – railways, bridges, and major highways – according to an Israeli source. They are military targets for they have been used to transport things.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 410: Fortunsyely, the strikes did not target oil facilities, according to the US official. US oil surges above $116 — more than doubling this year — after US strikes on Kharg Island The price of US oil has now doubled in 2026, a stunning spike that escalated after the United States on Tuesday struck military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island. Almost every day, millions of barrels of crude oil gush from Iran’s major fields — including Ahvaz, Marun and Gachsaran — through pipelines to the island, known among Iranians as the “Forbidden Island” due to tight military controls. Its long jetties, jutting into waters deep enough to accommodate oil supertankers, make the island a critical site for oil distribution. Storage capacity on Kharg is estimated at roughly 30 million barrels and, according to global trade analyst Leonhard Kepler, about 18 million barrels of crude are currently stored there.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 414: CNN previously reported that the Trump administration was weighing using US troops to seize the tiny island as leverage over the Iranians to coerce them to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Iran had been laying traps and moving additional military personnel and air defenses to the island in recent weeks in preparation for a possible US operation to take control of the island, including multiple people familiar with US intelligence reporting on the issue.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 430: Strikes by the United States and Israel severely damaged a synagogue in central Tehran on Tuesday, Iranian media reported. The building was identified as the Rafi Niya synagogue, with Iranian outlets publishing images and video footage, geolocated by CNN, showing a heavily damaged structure and books containing Hebrew scripture lying amid the rubble. CNN has reached out to the Israeli military for comment. IDF says "No comment".
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 432: The synagogue is “one of the religious centers of Tehran’s Jews dating back to the Pahlavi II era,” Iran’s Students News Agency (ISNA) reported, saying it was “completely destroyed in an airstrike.” ISNA also reported that “the centuries-old Torahs were likely heavily damaged, and their fate is currently unknown.” An Iranian Jewish community leader, Rabbi Younes Hamami Lalehzar, visited the site of the attack, the semi-official Mehr News Agency reported, adding that he thought the synagogue was just 80 years old. Before the 1979 revolution, there were some 60,000 Jews in Iran, according to Adyan Iran – a website that documents religious minorities in the country and which is linked to the activist outlet IranWire. That number has since dropped to just under 10,000, according to the latest census in 2016.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 545: The protests started over economic grievances in business and trade districts of the capital city on December 28, and morphed into nationwide expressions of anger and frustration at the political establishment over the days that followed. According to Iranian government, armed and trained “terrorists”, not state forces, were directly responsible for the killings of thousands during the protests. They claim that people acting on behalf of the US and Israel shot and stabbed people to derail peaceful demonstrations. US and Israeli officials have been openly touting the potential for toppling the theocratic leadership in Tehran over recent months, including during the 12-day war in June.
xxx/ellauri485.html on line 547: At the height of the protests, Trump urged Iranians to remain in the streets, alleging “help is on the way”. The POTUS speaks a lot of nonsense.
